Karen Young is highly experienced in teaching meditation from beginner to advanced level and from individuals to corporate clients. She is an expert adviser for a number of magazines on this subject and has written widely on all aspects of meditation.
Karen is also a qualified practitioner in Spiritual Healing, Spiritual Meditation, Holistic Massage, Hot Stone Massage and Aromatherapy. Prior to this Karen had a senior career in corporate management and understands at first hand the stresses of a demanding career whilst juggling the busy home life of a parent.
About the Workshop
This a great way to work with some meditation and mindfulness techniques that you may not have tried before, over an extended period of time; these exercises will give you an opportunity to reach a profound level of calm and peace within yourself. This workshop is suitable for anyone who has some basic meditation knowledge and practise. Extended meditation and the daily practice of mindfulness provide an oasis of deep calm that can have a lasting impact on one’s life.
Karen Young, a tutor with many years experience, will help you to explore with curiosity, joy, non-judgement and fun; the exercises will include sensory, energy, holistic, spiritual and self-coaching techniques. She is very open to your suggestions and preferences and is happy to use parts of the day to improvise and to create bespoke guided meditations. There will be opportunities for sharing feedback within the group and for Q &A.
N.B. Please bring a comfortable cushion or pillow. There will be time to break for lunch. Water and hot drinks will be provided.
