Pregnancy is a wonderful time to practise yoga and our classes are for all levels of yogic ability, from beginners to those with varying levels of experience. Pregnancy Yoga classes are gentle and safe for all pregnant women and we welcome you from 16 weeks until birth. Yoga offers specifically modified postures which promote flexibility and the strength to accommodate the growing baby. It allows your body to open gently in preparation for birth, enables you to release physical tension and emotional fears, and teaches you relaxation techniques which you can use throughout your pregnancy. The breathing practice during the class helps open the chest and improving the circulation to both mum and baby. Learning to control your breathing, will help you during labour and helps to reduce stress for you and the baby.
Labour & Birth Workshop

This workshop is aimed at giving pregnant women and their partners the information and tools needed to make the right choices for mum and baby during labour and birth. In this relaxed environment women/couples will be able to explore their hopes, fears and excitement regarding the upcoming birth.
• Place of birth
• Preparing your baby and body (optimal fetal positioning)
• How to make informed choices
• Signs of labour
• What happens during the different stages of labour
• Strategies to work with your body and the contractions of labour (movement and positions)
• Non-pharmacological pain relief and pharmacological pain relief
• When labour is not straightforward (induction, instrumental birth and caesarean section)
This workshop is aimed at women anywhere from 28-37 weeks of pregnancy, with their birthing partners.

A KG Hypnobirthing course will give you and your partner the knowledge and the tools to have a positive birth experience, as well as give your baby the best possible start in life.
It is a case of taking control of your birth and allowing yourself to make the choices that are right for you. You will learn to let go of fear and understand that ‘birth’ is not a medical emergency, but a very natural process. Rosie will show you how to use breathing techniques, deep relaxation, the power of the mind and positive language, as well as visualisations and affirmations to help support a gentle calm birth.
This is a full antenatal course and Rosie will cover all other aspects of birth preparation so you are fully confident and relaxed in the run up to your birth.
You will receive the Hypnobirthing book by Katherine Graves, a folder of handouts to guide your practice at home and a relaxation CD, which will be sent to you when you reserve a place on the course, so you can begin to enjoy the benefits of Hypnobirthing straight away.
