REIKI I

This 2 day workshop will give you an insight into the basis of Reiki. You will learn about the history, what Reiki is and how it can work, the chakra system, breathing and meditation exercises and how to give yourself a treatment. By the end of these 2 days you will be able to provide Reiki treatments for your friends and family. You’ll receive the Reiki 1 attunement, a 41 page Manual and Certificate. REIKI II

27th & 28th November 2010 - 11:00-17:00

A continuation on from 1st Degree Reiki this 2 day workshop will take your work with Reiki to the next level. The day will begin with a recap of Reiki I and then learning about 3 of the Reiki symbols; what they mean and how to apply them, including working with distance healing. You will receive the Reiki II attunement, a comprehensive manual and certificate. This will enable you to practice Reiki professionally if you wish to do so. However, this is not obligatory; by taking Reiki to level II it will enhance the healing you provide yourself and others. REIKI MASTER PRACTITIONER

During this level of Reiki you will learn about and receive the Master Symbol – which encourages a deeper level of connection and raises the system energetically even higher. We will also learn more about the history, meaning and use of this symbol, along with experiencing some beautiful meditations, learning techniques to further help others, whilst understanding that this level of training centers around mastering the self. The Master level of training can enable repressed issues to present themselves for dealing with, so it can be really freeing as you show further commitment to yourself. You will receive the Reiki Master Attunement, certification and a fully comprehensive manual. This 2 day workshop carries 10 CPD points for those that practice professionally. Carmen O'Connor

Carmen began her training in Usui Reiki in 1998 after receiving treatments herself during a difficult time in her life. The treatments helped her so much she wanted to be able to tap into this wonderful energy in order to help herself even more. At the outset of this journey it was not her intention to become a teacher of Reiki, but along the way that’s what happened. 

Carmen has had her own practice since 2002 providing treatments to humans and horses, and having been teaching Reiki since 2004 Carmen never ceases to be amazed at the incredible and positive benefits that Reiki can bring to a person or animal and their life. She says she feels honoured and humbled time and again at how Reiki can teach us, help us grow and support us in this busy and sometimes crazy world in which we live.

Carmen says of the training she offers “I like to teach Reiki traditionally and hand it on as it was so beautifully handed to me, so I very much teach as I was taught. I am conscious of honouring Reiki and how it can help us to live more peacefully within ourselves. It is always my intention and hope that whenever people come together for the training (and always the right people seem to be together at the right time for them!) they have a safe, comfortable and joyful time during the courses and the time is filled with laughter, learning, growth, healing and peace.
