The course format is as follows;.

* Revision of the theory of the candles

* A paired student session which is the practical test.
* Marketing the therapy
* Students are able to use an otoscope (under close tutor supervision).
Students should bring pen/pencil, paper, towel/blanket and own lunch. We also need a few students to bring their couches.
Loose/comfortable clothing should be worn and during the practical work minimal clothing is removed.
Because massage will be undertaken, normal standards of cleanliness will be expected including short fingernails.
It will be necessary for a copy of an A & P or equivalent qualification certificate to be supplied to the tutor on the day by qualified therapists. This will facilitate a certificate to be issued to successful students which can be sent at a later date to the appropriate organisation for insurance and registration purposes.
