Exercise:
Exercise helps keep our body healthy and tissues and organs working properly. In addition to keeping our bodies in good working order, exercise also helps ward off many diseases such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, osteoporosis and many others.
National health organisations recommend that you do moderately intense physical activity for at least 30 minutes on most days of the week. Doing more vigorous exercise is also encouraged and maintaining a ‘keep fit’ life style, doesn’t have to mean slogging it out in a sweaty gym. Some people hold back from getting fit because they feel self-conscious about their ability or body and want to find an activity they can do on their own, but organised classes can provide you with support and motivation, as well as a chance to make new friends. As well as keeping you fit, something like a salsa class is a nice way of meeting other people.
So, if you’ve been putting off taking some regular exercise Now is the time to take action, and what’s better our centre is right on your doorstep and requires no joining or annual membership fee! Check our class schedule for a class to suit you; with body conditioning, latin aerobics, pilates and yoga available. Classes are very popular, so be quick to book your space.
