Lotte Berk Method Kew Richmond EarthlifeCombines elements from modern and classical dance, yoga and ballet exercises into a highly sensual and satisfying fitness system. It will firm, lengthen and shape muscles to their optimal form. The core stomach muscles get stronger, supporting your spine, flattening your stomach and improving your posture. Your bottom will lift and your thighs will get trimmer. The exercises will give a lean, supple and toned look to your body, rather than a muscular bulky look.

I first took up Lotte Berk 3 years ago. I had tried yoga a few times, but wanted to find something different - and a little more lively. Because Lotte Berk is based on ballet movements and is done to music, it was just what I was looking for. Lotte Berk is all about isolating specific muscle areas and making tiny movements to shape and tone those muscles - the exercises are graceful but controlled and when done regularly (2/3 times per week) you see amazing results really quickly. And because you don't 'break a sweat' as such, you also leave the class feeling invigorated and uplifted (ready for a glass of wine!), rather than exhausted - and ready for bed! Suffice to say, that I've got so much out of doing Lotte Berk over the past few years that I've actually given up my job in central London to begin training to teach the method myself.

Combining toning and stretching of all body parts with a focus on core stability and stretching to increase flexibility and suppleness.

 

Body Conditioning

An exciting, dymanic class to get you fit all over! A simple cardio warm-up to burn fat, followed by exercises using small equipment to tone and strengthen both upper and lower body. A great way to kick start your post-holiday fitness plan!

 

Legs, Bums & Tums - currently not running

Emphasis is on toning lower body; abdominals, hips, thighs and buttocks. A class which specifically targets those problem areas, with low impact, easy to follow moves.
