Welcome to our January 2012 Newsletter!

January is traditionally the time when we all rush to the gym and furiously swear off alcohol for a month, or at least a week...  Everyone wants to make amends for the excesses of the festive season and to make an effort towards leading a healthier lifestyle.

At Earthlife we have a variety of Fitness Classes to suit everyone and some great Workshops and Treatments  to help you get both your body and mind back into shape after the Christmas Holidays.

To help lose weight, tone and shape; look up Lotte Berk Method, Zumba, Pilates, Body Sculpt and Introduction to the Barre, as well as our Mindful Eating workshop.

To work more on the mind; maybe you are feeling a bit down, stressed out or not sleeping very well; have a look at Yoga and Zumba (Zumba has been called both ‘Exercise in disguise’ and ‘Prozac in disguise’),

as well as the Instant Meditator workshop and treatments such as Reiki, Massage and Craniosacral Therapy.

To boost confidence and have a laugh, come along to our Funny Women Comedy Workshop or the 'Closet Control' workshop, which will give you styling tips and help you take control of your wardrobe.

As mentioned above the Lotte Berk Method is a great class to help you lose weight, tone and shape in just the right places. SATURDAY YOGA CHANGES

We have made some changes to our Saturday morning yoga class. From 7th January the class has been moved to 8:45am (giving you 15 min more in bed..) and Catherine Perrin will take over the classes from Lucy. The class will be 75 min long and still run as single classes (i.e. you do not need to book for a course) at £14.50 per class.

It is essential to book your space, as we do need a minimum number of 3-4 to run it and there are a max of 9 people in each class. Please contact us before 4pm on a Friday, if you would like to book in for the following day.

Kick start your weekend with a Saturday morning Yoga class, which will improve your posture, stress levels and your weekend! This class is suitable for all levels, so come along and try it out. Call us on 020 8940 0888 to book your space.

The Lotte Berk classes have been one of our most popular classes during the time Earthlife has been open. There are now some spaces available in this amazing class, which concentrates on targeting specific areas for strength and flexibility training. Like Pilates, working from the core provides an intensive workout and promotes the growth of muscle tissue, which burns calories at a faster rate than fatty tissue.

The class combines elements from modern and classical dance, orthopaedic back exercises and yoga, into a highly sensual and satisfying fitness system and unlike many other forms of exercise; it will not leave you with bulked up unsightly muscles. In fact everyone who does Lotte walks taller, gets firmer thighs, a flatter stomach and a nicely defined perky ‘Ballet Bum.’

It is a low-impact extraordinarily effective program that firms, lengthens and shapes muscles to their optimal form. From your first workout you will begin to create strong, toned muscles and burn calories. The results will look and feel fabulous!
